UWSP STUDENT AFFAIRS DIVISION
LOPMENTNIVERSITY RELATIONS
Beliefs
We believe education must be a dynamic enterprise to prepare
students for effective service and leadership in society.
We believe a comprehensive educational experience prepares a
student for life as well as a career.
We believe learning is maximized when an educational environment
engages the whole person, both in and out of the classroom, and provides a
balance of challenge and support to the individual.
We believe the educational environment is strengthened through the
cooperative participation of all members of the university community.
We believe a comprehensive educational experience will foster
institutional pride and loyalty in all members of the university community and
manifest itself in an ongoing commitment to the advancement of the university
and its mission.
We affirm UWSP’s historical belief and time-honored tradition that
an individual’s potential is best realized in a friendly, nurturing environment
which respects and values each person.
