We hope when you come to our
wedding, you take some time to enjoy all the DC area has to offer.
We encourage you to plan ahead with other guests to take advantage
of some of the parks, museums, and monuments. To help you plan
ahead, you will find a little information below about a few of our
favorite spots in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Glen Echo Park,
Glen Echo, Maryland
This is where we will be going for the Friday Night Contra Dance.
This park is also great for daytime visits with kids. It has a
playground, a renovated carousel, Discovery Creek nature center, the
Puppet Co., arts and crafts, and guided historic tours.

the path of Union and Confederate soldiers. Historic tours, a
visitor's center, monuments and markers can turn this "hike in
the country" into a moving experience.
Good for kids who can handle long walks and historic
monuments. Car needed. $3 for adults, free for kids.

DC
Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Library of Congress,
Supreme Court, WWII Memorial, Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, Korean War
